There are a number of ways to pay for your domain.

1 – You can make your payment through the domain registrar. Registrars typically charge 9-20% commissions on transactions. (GoDaddy, SEDO, and the rest)

2 – Through a third-party facilitator such as Escrow.com.

Either of these first two options would add their “commissions/fees” to the price of the domain.

3 – *RECOMENNDED* – You can also pay directly via PayPal or Wise(TransferWise) to avoid any commissions or fees.
